Lake Norman State Park, N.C.
After many twisty roads we found Lake Norman in the wilderness of northern N.C.
It was a beautiful campground, spacious campsites, new cabins, and the tile work in the bathrooms were like a house.
Just down the road was a Sandy swimming area and a clear quiet lake.
We kayaked and paddle boarded and watch a peaceful sunset. The tranquility interrupted by a few screaming kids in the swimming area.
